The first album of another wonder boy from the United States. Zach Condon travels all the way to the other side of the globe, meets somehow the sounds of Balkan music, filters them and present us with this really balanced piece of work. Nice melodies and variety of instruments shaped in the form of a pop album (and not in one of a serbian charity event...).
Probably one of the strongest releases of 2006, given it's a first album and a different direction in the whole indie folk scene that's growing in the USA.
